Prayer is a priority of Beverley Baptist Church. As well as encouraging personal prayer, we have a number of meetings to bring us together as a community in prayer. If you have anything you would like us to pray for, please do get in touch. This can be private prayer amongst our leaders or as a congregation.
Unless otherwise noted, all prayer events take place in the Prayer Room at the Armstrong Centre, entrance from the Grovehill Road.

Other prayer opportunities
Night watch. `On the first Saturday night of each month we gather from 11pm – 12:30am to pray for the coming month. A pattern of prayer allows us to pray for our world, our nation, our town, our church, and ourselves. Some gather in person in our Prayer Room, but there is also an option to connect by Zoom from wherever you are, so that those who are unable to come out late at night are able to be part of this prayer event.
24 hour prayer. Four times a year we hold a 24 hour prayer vigil in our Prayer Room from 5pm on Saturday to 5pm on Sunday. This is largely for silent prayer, reflection, and listening to God; but the event usually begins with Communion and ends with a time of praise and prayer together; the monthly nightwatch and regular Sunday morning prayer time are also incorporated into this event.
Week of prayer. From time to time we hold a week of prayer, including a variety of events encouraging us to pray together. We hope in future to make this at least an annual event in September.
